Nicholas Broadbent
Nicholas has a passion for problem solving and creating intelligent solutions to complicated problems. As director and BIM manager at BIM Edge he enjoys the diverse challenges that different projects bring. With more than 10 years’ experience in BIM and construction he brings a wealth of knowledge to projects. Nicholas founded the industry group MelBIM in 2015 and this group has consistently been getting more than 300 people attending it’s industry events 5 times a year.
Nicholas has a strong history leading BIM Coordination on large projects, training and teaching teams while on the job, producing 4D building construction sequences, 4D renders and animations, developing new ways of using technology to further other understanding of construction, using his API and C# knowledge to create software that fills the gaps between current software.
He has lectured at RMIT University and Swinburne University.
He describes BIM as still in its infancy and has presented successful 5 star rated talks at Autodesk University, RTC and many other Corporate events.

Joe Banks
Joe has been working in the architectural industry since 2002 and with Revit since version 8 (2005).
Joe has worked on Revit projects from $50K - $900M and has been responsible for high quality BIM deliverables as well as multiple Revit implementations and the training of over 300 users.
With a broad range of experience on different types of projects Joe has pushed Revit to its limits and is always striving to be on the bleeding edge of new technology.
